Who is God?

For a long time there has been a warm debate among people around “Who is God” and all opinions have varied from each other’s.

For some people, God exists. And for others God does not! Those who don’t agree with God’s existence always asked the question that if there is a God, who is God?

God is behind all creation in the universe, the creator of nature. Nature wasn’t create by human beings or any living things on the planet, and if we didn’t do it then something else must have done it. Was it your mom? Was it your dad?  They are very capable people and as parents they gave you all there is to give, but are they really able to create something as lowly as dirt? Even the president of the United States, with all the power he has can not create a leaf from scratch. Let alone something as advanced as a worm. Therefore there must be a supernatural power that created nature, humans and all living and unloving things on earth and that supernatural power is GOD.

What is the Identity of God?

No one on the planet sees the wind or air but nobody can question the existence of wind or air. All of us only can feel and experience it in many ways. We can identify and define God’s identity. We can feel and experience God in several ways whether we are believers of God or not.

God’s form varies according to cultural, religious and the forms we are living on earth.

For Black people God could be Black, for White it could be white. It is same for Hindus. It could have eight hands. For animals, God may be a giant buffalo with four horns. And for Asian people, God has brown eyes and black hair.

What we can and can’t understand about God

It is true that we cannot fully understand all there is to know about God. God is not limited by time or space as we are.

There are some aspects of God that are beyond our comprehension.

Our idea of God is just an exaggerated version of ourselves as we are still not able to define ourselves but the definition about our self is not always correct. No one can define God. We can just experience and be in awe over it. We can’t make knowledge on it, Whatever knowledge we have about God is just pure cultural bases. God and depending on what kind of Culture you have, that is the type of God you have.  Have you heard the stories about people dying then coming back only to tell of the leader we know about – Christian it is Jesus. And for others and atheists it is something else.  We can only experience this life god gave us. And that could be all there is – that we were given the chance to experience this gift of life God gave all of us.

Who is God? Confessions of an Ex-sinner, Part 1

(By Jim Chilson)

By Jim Chilson

The sign outside said Sinners Anonymous.

“Hello. My name is Jim.”

“Hello Jim!” You all shout.

“And I am a sinner.” Or everyone in the church said I was, anyway.

This is how I became an ex-sinner.

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I was thinking, where can I find God? Who is God?

I can agree with the last part. How can humans understand God and act less than God about the universe?

I mean, He built it. She created all of it; he hears us when we talk to Him. Every time. By the way, who is God to you?

Except when we don’t get what we asked for, such as where is the proof of God’s existence?

He is a loving, kind God and vengeful, jealous God. Huh? Sounds like my neighbor’s grandfather.

Why do we put all these human characteristics on God?

A story about God, something we have a hard time imagining – something that created all of us, but what about the proof of God’s existence? And where can I find God? And all there is, and all the laws of the universe, is like my neighbor’s grandfather? He confounded great human minds such as Einstein until Einstein could only theorize a part of what God did. So, let’s explain who God is in your life.

This Great Creator is as moody as that grandfather next door, who po-po his scruffy dog, and condemns the dog walkers to Hell if their dog pisses on his lawn?

Now the Bible seems to say to me thou shalt not judge. It is about forgiveness and love, and non-judgment. That’s the New Testament, anyway. So how can a newborn baby be a sinner? And who are we to judge always? No, something isn’t clicking. Something is wrong here.

And something is wrong in so many places. God gives us free will and then says if we do a terrible thing, we will go to Hell for eternity. It does not make sense.

What was the problem??

This was the problem I had regarding God as I was growing up. I got many answers from many authority people, and they all contradicted each other about who God is.

No matter who I asked, I heard similar BS logic trying to sound rational. I asked church elders where i find god, and soon as I heard, “Hmmm, that’s an excellent question, young man. Well, ….”    I knew they didn’t have a clue.

So I was frustrated with God and getting worse, so I quit. I needed a break. So I stopped asking.

Years went by, and I wanted to maintain some sanity.

A classmate asked me if I believed in God and if God was real.

He said, “Yes. Of course.”

I asked him how does he know?

He replied it says so.

I asked, “Where?”

In the Bible.

I smiled, said bye, and left. I didn’t want to hear anymore.

Years passed. Maybe decades. Maybe God is real, maybe not, but thinking about it seemed an exercise in frustration.

So no more who is God or is God alive questions. My mind went on vacation regarding the subject.

But God doesn’t give up on us so quickly, it seems. Even if we give up on Him, he is a stubborn creator. He bided His time. He is pretty wise for an old guy, and  naturally has to be.

Then He saw His chance. A chance to impart some wisdom into the tired mixed-up mind of someone He knew still wanted answers, no matter what I told myself.

So I found myself in a thrift store and found a book of cassette tapes called Conversations with God. Thought sh%$. I sighed as I read on the cover about what was inside, liked what I read and forked over the hard-earned cash I had earmarked for a fat Jack in the Box or n-Out burger.

I put the first tape in my tape deck and reluctantly pushed play. It was not what I was used to hearing when it came to Biblical things. It said crazy sinful things that I was going to go to Hell for eternity for even buying. And crazy stuff, like Hitler, isn’t in Hell, and no, babies are not born in sin.

OMG. I played and played and played those tapes for as long as my cassette player would play them. I loved it, and  wanted to disagree with it because it was not what I was taught, but it all made sense.

By the way, now I can listen to everything the author Neale Donald Walsh says on YouTube. It seems he had similar frustrations as I did in the beginning.

OK, so there is a God, probably.

And other things started to happen in the years ahead.

I noticed there was a meditation class at a nearby Buddhist temple.

So I went to see if they could teach my attention-deficit self how to meditate.

The most significant spiritual person I have ever met.

Was it an accident or coincidence that I found myself in the first meeting with a young monk who spoke no English in a class with Americans who spoke no Chinese and an interpreter in between?

The Monk spoke a sentence in Chinese, and the interpreter carefully said, “Does anyone know why we meditate?”

I could read the room’s mood because I was one of them. I thought a moment was searching for the most profound reason I could publicly state (By the way, “profound sounding” – I became like the church elders I ran away from).

The profound reasons that flowed like honey out of that room gave flies on the wall a sugar high. Everyone sounded like a poet.

After the translator finished, the Monk shook his head and said something the interpreter rephrased: “No. You’re mistaken.” The room fell still.

“We meditate so we don’t have to come back here.”

What? How simple, How direct, How un-human, How un-pass the collection plates.

A religious person is not interested in money or growing his followers and seems only interested in helping people in their spiritual journey and progress. I love it.

What unusual, How special, How unselfish, How long will this temple allow him to teach here?

All of that was true, even the last question, and he lasted just a few years. He had to leave, but fortunately, some wealthy followers also appreciated his uniqueness and sponsored him in a rented house until now, he is at a new temple. It reminds me of another teacher who got into trouble with the elders by stirring the pot of selflessness.

Monk Wei Shi, his name is, and someone told me it meant from the East, but he enjoyed life. He is what I should be – happily appreciating this life. He always looked to be wearing a smile. Most people might think he had nothing – just the robes on his back, but none of the luxuries most normal people desire.

He joked also. Want to hear a Monk’s joke?

One time in China, a long time ago, a young girl was on her way to get water from a stream.

A young man was there, sitting by the road. When he saw her, he jumped up, ran next to her, and told her she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen.

She giggled.

He told her no, it was true. You are gorgeous. I am in love. I want to live with you forever and ever.

She giggled some more. Then they said, “Well, if you think I am the most beautiful you have ever seen, then you should see my sister, who is just over there.”

She nods behind her. He looks.

She gathers her pale and starts walking away.

The boy looks back at her and asks, “Hey, where are you going? I am in love with you.”

She asks him, “If I am the most beautiful you have ever seen and you love me, why did you look for my sister?”

And she walked away to live happily ever after. Smart girl. Smart Monk.

A glimpse at realization:

Something else happened to me in that meditation class. It seemed very small but was immense as the sea. It came out of nowhere, lasted less than a millisecond, was there and gone, and never came back.

I meditated for two years there, meaning I and the others sat on a pillow in the temple basement for an hour and a half with our eyes closed.

After two years of this, I was getting antsy, waiting for something to happen. That Sunday was like every other Meditation Sunday. “OK. Meditate,” the translator said, and we all closed our eyes.

But something burned through my mind halfway through class and without warning.

I felt, and I knew from every atom in my body and in the universe knew, though it probably didn’t care, I knew, for a split second, I realized that I, or my body, was made of the same stuff that the vast wooden support beam near me holding up that building was. I was the same, and we are connected to the universe.

It doesn’t sound like much; the heavens never opened up, and no voices came out of heaven. But there it was. A tiny fraction of the minor little thing in the universe, something I could call a splinter of a molecule of enlightenment, landed on my head like a boulder.

I could say I started acting and thinking like an awakened spirit, but no. Except for the wow, I feel when I remember it, no.

Regardless of religion, this was the proof of God’s existence that is open, I am sure, to anyone and everyone seeking this path to understanding.

There is more coming in Part 2. Let me give you a rest and an opportunity to think about what has happened to me and can happen to anyone who asks for it, for I have no doubt a part of me asked for it all. The ABCs of finding happiness through religion is one way to get peace in life.

Can Money Make You Happy?

Can money make you happy?

Yes, money can make you happy.

Of course, it can.

Anyone who ask can money make you happy. If you are the person who is thinking, where can I find happiness or does money make you happy? This guide is for you;

But what happens when you need money again and don’t have it? Unhappiness. Fear. Stress.

So it can, and then it may only work for a short time.

But to say it does is not accurate. It certainly does, but you should enjoy every moment of life whether you have money. It removes the immediate issues when we think we lack something we need. Could you give it to the needy? Or go on a shopping spree. Or fly to Hawaii. Whatever.

But after Hawaii, you have to go home. Back to traffic, kids, job, reality, and enjoy every moment.

Is there a way to live happy without money or outside things?

People ask the question where can I find happiness? And hoe? You can live like a monk. But it helps if you do know how they think.

And Godsyou is not talking about stupid happy all the time. We will explain can money make you happy with a logical  explanation. However, that is a worthy goal. I mean, how do you want to spend your time on earth? Happy or miserable?

“Rocky,” said nothing hits as hard as life, “It will knock you down and keep you down if you let it.” Now bad things happen to everyone and at the worst time. So feeling sad when bad things happen seems natural. To let it ruin your happiness constantly is not.

I am talking about maintaining your happiness levels, even having a more positive way of moving through life than before you looked at this website. To be able to return to a happiness level anytime you want. Even money makes you happy sometimes. But if you don’t have then stay calm at that time.

Monks can stay calm through it all. They need to work on it.

We all know or have heard of poor people who are happy, enjoy everyman and dance about being happy. And there are rich who are always miserable, looking for ways to cheat to make more money, and are still sad.

Spend some time thinking about Happiness:

After some time thinking about happiness or whether can money make you happy, I know it is not something you chase, for it will run away. Happiness comes to you like a butterfly landing on your finger.

And the goal is, once you find happiness, to remember how you got to that point and make it your usual place to stay. To raise the happiness level so you can enjoy every moment more often and wild circumstances can not way you as much as before.

This could be a morning ritual – to take a few minutes, reflect on your feelings, and bring that core level up. Every morning consider life and appreciate what you can of it and what comes your way.

What is happiness? I can find happiness; It is different for everyone. But for me, what works is I have an appreciation of my life, nature, and all the things that come to me and will keep arriving, to not worry so much about things I can not control, to help others if I can, not to allow fear to control my life and money makes you happy. So, money makes you happy if you are helping others with your wealth.

And from the philosophers, including friends, family, and the famous ones on YouTube, I learned not to expect anything, to work toward my goal and when finished, let the results go and make me happy. Please leave it to fate to decide and start working on my next destination.

Enjoy Every moment

Live in the moment of now for a time. Just try it, and you will see all you miss or enjoy every moment of life we are surrounded by. Everything we miss when we think money makes us happy. The sunshine, the fresh air, the colors of the fall season, winter, summer, and spring, the taste of your favorite foods, conversations with your famous people, the accomplishments of your family and friends, a job well done, the magic of the spider building a strong, mathematically impossible structure called a web.

YouTube has videos by Eckhart on Living in the Now, which have changed everything for me. His videos and his books.

Have you heard the phrase when the student is ready, the teacher will appear? He has to me many times. If you are sincere and ask, They will pop out of nowhere. The info you seek will be found on TV, in the newspaper, radio, from a friend, or from shopping in a store. It works for me.

Why does my happiness come and go so easily?

I wonder does money make you happy, so I can only guess. It could be chemical, or it could be that you let things outside yourself dictate your happiness, and the way to avoid that is to recognize that happiness is a choice and inside you and your brain, not outside. Of course, outside things can and do make people unhappy constantly; you should enjoy every moment.

It is hard to be happy with a toothache or if someone hits your car or a mate cheats on you. But after the calamity, it is still your choice to go back to an upbeat, happy state or a miserable one. You set the thermometer of your life inside.

That is by having no expectations, only enjoying every moment for a while, seeing all that is going on around you, appreciating all that you have and will have, and studying all the things to be happy, loving, and thankful for.

Everyone wants to know, “how can I make money in life and does money make you happy .”Read this blog. It helps you a lot.

god is Love

Why God is love.

Who is God, and how it all began?

Why can’t I find God?

Is God Love?

In the beginning, there was only God.

God knew He was the power. But it wasn’t enough because He could not feel nor experience who He was because there was nothing to compare himself to, so He created relativity and a way to reach everything, to experience what life feels like out of Love and His desire to share Himself through all He made. Universal Love.

The Big Bang. And Einstein’s theory of relativity. We were all created out of Love, so of course, we deserve to feel what we are – loved by God from the beginning. No sins. Universal Love is more than merely an emotion; it is an actual state of being.

This article is for you if you sometimes wonder if there is a God and the meaning of life.

God’s Love for us:

Is God Love? What is God’s real name? Think about God. He created us as a way for Him to know himself. He experiences himself through our experiences. We are His children. He sees himself when he sees us. Be happy; God loves you.

From this, He is Love, He loves us, and He created Love when He created us and this world.

It is an entirely different emotion than the others. The verses about God’s Love are what make life worth all the trouble when we think about God and happiness. It is the best thing to keep us alive and happy. The fact that the universe revolves around Love is undisputed. A person who has never felt the emotion of universal Love is compared to a rock in this respect. Look at how the universe operates, and you will see Love everywhere. Everywhere a flower grows. Every time a person prays. One good way to understand the meaning and feeling of Love is to appreciate and feel universal Love for this life, which includes all types of God’s Love. Love can make us happy.

Universal Love can lead to all the other kinds of Love as they all start with the first seed. And to learn more about being happy, look at our article, how to become satisfied in 10 minutes.

If you are one of the millions who are not sure they ever really felt the power of Love, don’t worry. Stick with your journey to the more incredible things in life, and you will discover that feeling and all its wonders and power. No matter what age you are, or your circumstances, we all have the ability.

Many people ask, “Is there a god?” or “Why can’t I find God?” Think about God. He found you. The main reason people can not see God is they are not listening. We don’t know how to listen. We observe everything in this life that can not be touched physically with suspicion. Look at all the coincidences – how the right person, phrase, or book came to you at the right time. Are you listening? Listen more. Ask a question, and you may be bombarded with answers.

God is Love; Love is God.

God created a tree with a nut so hard nothing could open it to let it out to grow a new tree. Now God had to, through great imagination, create a special kind of beetle with mandibles sharp enough to make a hole, and with that, the seed could escape and grow in the world. And he did – the only beetle in the world that can free the tree from inside that seed. This tells me I was created for a purpose, even if I never knew why we were created for a purpose.

Look at the mother’s instinct to protect the littlest ones in the animal world and our human world.

Romantic Loveless is a profound, emotional, indescribable feeling of devotion and solicitude toward another person. But the very first tingling feeling comes from all the things we love. Love is everywhere. It is what the Beatles meant when they sang, “All you need is love.”

Now, we have all felt Love and the happiness that comes from it. It is time to spread it to everything we see and appreciate what a wonderful world this could be.

Everyone wants to know how to be happy in daily life. Love and happiness intertwine and are interdependent. Once you’ve experienced true Love, the feeling doesn’t go away. It’s indeed love that is the source of all happiness. Happiness breeds greater Love, and the cycle continues forward.

Where does your sense of well-being come from?

Genuine happiness comes from within. It comes from making sensible decisions, which includes deciding to be happy. When things are going well in our external circumstances, it may be easier for us to choose happiness. But this is not the cause of our pleasure. Even though things around you are not going as well as you would like them to, you can still be content. We all need to realize that happiness is a choice, and we are responsible for our happiness. Laughing Buddha is a symbol of happiness.

Happiness is a state of mind. God gave you love, the ability to love the world, and the choice of a happy life or a sad one. Same circumstances, but we choose what kind of life we see it as.

Emotional healing and happiness can start once we accept & internalize our partner’s Love and take responsibility for fixing the unloved places inside ourselves. Paradoxically, even though we may not have been able to achieve true happiness without the Love of another, their Love alone will often not satisfy us.

We can do this by igniting the flame of self-love that burns deep within us, allowing us to recognize, feed, and nourish it until it erupts into a raging inferno that consumes all of the shame, insecurity, anger, and suffering that seem to be the roots of our unhappiness. Whenever two people communicate in this manner, they can both feel a level of happiness far more significant than either of them had anticipated.

This is the magic of recognizing and experiencing Love in any form. Let it grow and spread and see a new world as others see and feel it in you.
